I brought my 2010 Hyundai Accent in due to ongoing issues: fuel splash-back, poor fuel economy, and multiple check engine codes (P0301, P0497, P0451, P0455). I paid almost $200 for a diagnostic, but unfortunately, I left without any clear answers. The shop spent most of the day with my car, cleared the codes, and told me to come back if the issue happened again. I have come back to the shop on Tuesday with investing nearly $800 in repairs. The charcoal canister was replaced, and the codes were cleared. Now it’s Thursday and I am back in the shop because I have the same check engine light on with the EVAP system. The receptionist knows me by name, it’s wonderful. Hopefully I won’t be back for at least a month, but I will probably be back tomorrow with the way this is going. I don’t think it’s anything that the shops doing wrong or to improve on, but it’s very frustrating to have car issues consistently and putting a lot of money towards it being fixed. Especially when you work, and have to take off of work to do it. I will say it’s best if you don’t drop your car off and you wait because from experience the mechanic talks to you about the issues rather than when you drop off your car. It’s always nice to get spoken to about the issues, and be able to understand what’s wrong with the vehicle. Sadie has been a wonderful person, and Ethan was explaining and showing me what was wrong with the vehicle pretty well. Thank you Auto Pros Team but hopefully I don’t have to be back for a good bit!
